I am looking for someone who is willing to be both a live-in caregiver at a private home who will provide care for me for 20 hours a week (or more if someone offers more to get ahead of the competition) and a personal executive assistant. Your compensation will be to get to rent a room in a three-bedroom home in Multnomah County, preferably in Portland, OR. at no charge. If you do not do the work, then you will need to make up the hours or pay half of the monthly rent, which the overall rent will be approximately $2000. There will be one bedroom for you, one for me, and one for workout equipment that you can also use. No couples, no smoking, no marijuana, no pets, no alcohol in the house unless on special occasions, no parties or get-togethers without prior approval by me, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, etc. Your room will not be furnished. The move-in date is what I am expecting but it does depend on a few factors, such as the interviewing process, your application with the housing authority, us finding a place, us applying to move there, the negotiation between the county and the property manager due to the housing voucher, and any other unexpected surprises. I am in the process of finding a new place in Multnomah County in which we would move in together—you are welcome to help me find a place—preferably in the westside of Portland. You will be on the lease, but since I get a housing voucher and guaranteed income as a disabled veteran, this means the rent will always be paid. The job: You will be both a caregiver and a personal assistant to me. I am a disabled veteran with mental health disabilities. I am also a publisher of a startup publishing company that works with artists, authors, bands, game-makers musicians, singers, etc. As a care provider: You will authorize Multnomah County’s housing authority and the Veteran Affairs to perform a background check, and you will sign a contract with the county housing authority and Veteran Affairs to be my care provider. You will perform daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing, cooking, yard work, dusting, deep cleaning, and other similar types of duties. You will be my workout partner every day. You will make sure my prescription medicine is put in the weekly trays, so I don’t have to do it. You will run personal errands for me. You will attend events with me and support me if I get overwhelmed from social anxiety and panic attacks from PTSD as well as help me understand social cues that I may miss. You will be my wing buddy. You will help me be active and motivate me when I am depressed and help me when my bipolar 2 is impacting me. You will hang out with me, play board games, play video games, watch tv and movies, help me throw get-togethers with friends, help introduce me to new friends and open my social network, etc. You will help me with getting up at a decent time. You will help me with attending and making it through church and church events due to my social anxiety. You will also help me with my hobbies, which includes starting up my rock band, creating TikTok episodes, working on my books as an author, working on my skills as a singer and lead guitarist, and more. You will be patient, kind, supportive, caring, compassionate, slow to anger, peaceful, a peacemaker, calm in a situation where everyone is anxious, etc. As a personal executive assistant: You will type with college-level writing skills on contracts at a decent rate, e.g., a 200-page publishing contract and read and understand international law, Supreme Court cases, copyright laws, etc. You will go to concerts to sell merchandise, to bookstores to setup for my clients for them to sell their products and sign their autographs for their fans, and to bookstores, record stores, and other retail stores to try to get them to sell my products, etc. You will post updates on the business’s Facebook and social media pages, work on my company’s website, etc.
