I have created this account for my Dad. Here are the details of what we are looking for:
My Dad is a senior living in a 2 bed/2bath apartment in Maplewood, NJ. He has some mobility issues (slow to get around) but is sharp as a tack and has his wits about him. His live-in roommate/helper of 2 years left to take care of her ill mother which leaves us in need of someone to help him out. This person can live there rent-free in exchange for making breakfast and dinners and being there overnight in case there is an emergency. He is located in a great area, close to stores, parks, and the jitney stop to the train station (NYC midtown direct). Honestly, my Dad is pretty easy - quiet, not needy, and spends a lot of time in his room watching TV and on the computer. We are looking for someone ASAP.
