This is a residential unpaid part-time internship with an opportunity to go full-time and receive a stipend after a 3-month probationary period. Room and some utilities are provided. Hours and stipend will be negotiated. Care for different types of animals and learn about ways to connect with animals that may challenge how you've been conditioned to see them. WAG Healing is about healing the human-animal bond. We are working to establish programs that honor both human and animal and inspire self-awareness in humans toward wholeness and compassion for self and others. Animal feeding, grooming, walking, basic health care. Animal shelter cleaning. Hours range somewhere between 6am and 9pm 5 days per week. Veterinary education and experience preferred. Should have some animal handling experience. Should enjoy living with animals and enjoy their company.
